Fig + Cacao Smoothie
~ Serves 1, Gluten-Free
Smoothies are such a nutritious way to start the day and this fig and cacao smoothie is absolutely delicious. Packed with fibre, calcium and antioxidants, it ticks both the nutrition and taste boxes. Topped with crunchy homemade muesli, it will keep you going all monring!
Ingredients:
- ½ cup organic whole milk
- ½ cup water
- ½ small frozen banana
- 1 large fresh fig
- 1 medjool date
- ¼ avocado
- 2 tsp raw cacao powder
- 1 tsp greens powder – optional (but we never say no to extra goodness!)
- 1 tsp maca powder – optional
Extra- optional
- 1 Tbspn homemade muesli for crunch
- 2 dried fig slices
Method:
- Place all of the ingredients into a high-powered blender or Nutri-bullet and process until thick and creamy.
- Top with homemade muesli and fig slices and enjoy!
